Energy Performance API

The following attributes provide an approximation of the building’s energy performance, based on available structural and usage data.

The energy data includes indicators commonly used in building energy assessments, such as final and primary energy demand, CO₂ emissions, and transmission heat losses. In addition, compliance-related metrics according to German building energy codes (GEG) are provided.

Key energy attributes:

  • energy_efficiency_category: Estimated energy efficiency classification of the building (e.g., A+, B, C, …)
  • end_energy: Final energy demand (Endenergiebedarf)
  • primary_energy: Primary energy demand (Primärenergiebedarf)
  • co2_equivalent: Estimated CO₂ emissions in equivalent values
  • auxiliary_energy: Auxiliary energy (e.g., for heating system components)
  • heating_energy: Heating energy demand
  • transmission_thermal_loss: Heat loss through the building envelope
  • geg2020: Energy indicators related to GEG 2020 compliance
  • geg2023: Energy indicators related to GEG 2023 compliance

Note: These values are calculated based on approximated structural data and generalized assumptions. They are intended for early-stage assessments and must not be used as substitutes for certified energy performance certificates.
